Your Weather Report:
SLC - You will not hit 50 degrees until Saturday, which will make you bitter and cry frequently. There will be precipitation, frozen and not, until Thursday. This will also make you cry and wish you had a garage. Or even a garage not full of storage.
Logan - Your life will be just as miserable but you have a garage, so you won't cry as much. Bike riding isn't recommend as it will also be wet until Thursday AND you won't hit 50 degrees. Close, on Sunday, but no cigar.
And that is the weather for this next week. Apparently, the nice weather we've been having was just a strange, sad little fluke. So start dressing your daughter in socks for crying out loud. (In my defense, I didn't know it was snowing till I opened the door!)
In other news in the Stillman Family... hmm. Oh yes. We're going to St. George for Spring Break, which runs for the shockingly long time of MARCH 27 THRU APRIL 5. What?! Who does that?! Certainly and not ever Cache School District. We won't be down there the whole time, since it's technically Laura's turn to have Spring Break with the kids but we're hoping she'll let us take them from Wednesday to Sunday. I need a tan and some serious time with a pool. Or at the very least time near a pool, content with the knowledge I could get in if I really wanted too.
And lastly, some recent pics. That's all. I will give the next person a homebaked cookie who posts and isn't Mom or Anna. (And that's not a diet comment, I just assume you will post sooner than others. So you can have a cookie too.)
(Rocking the "I've Just Been Robbed" Look) (And it wasn't this messy pre-break-in. I promise.)
"Hey, I was robbed but it's cool, cuz I got my stuff back."
Yes, that's Sophia in her toy box. Because isn't that what a toy box is for?? (And I took an awesome picture of her crying after it fell over but my computer ate it. My computer is also a bully.)
And sorry I haven't sent those pictures Anna!
I know, it's just me. But aren't they SO adorable! I'm just as proud as if I had them, or at least, took the pictures!!! WEll done, all! I love these guys, and all the otherss. AND I totally feel that way about the weather, though I'm trying hard to not be too invested in the warm weather. It's like life, really. Do we have good weather/times with a little bad weather or times/ mixed in? Or vice versa. I prefer the positive thoughts. The bad weather or bad times ARE the flukes. Life is (mostly) good!
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures of Jayden and Sophia...so cute!
ReplyDeleteSo Michelle gets the homebaked cookies, Sarah! Or at least, one, as you promised! Way to go Michelle.
ReplyDeleteAnyone else going to say anything? Anyone? Anyone?
From Mom's blog yesterday:
ReplyDeleteI'm nestled on my living room couch, watching the storm change from blowing rain to sideways snow. Just your normal spring day in Utah. Already our front yard is covered in snow. Yesterday we had another brief taste of the kind of spring I WISH we were having, warm enough weather to be go on a nice bike ride with Mark and warm enough to chase the grandkids around the yard in. I sat with Sophia on a rock on our hill (she can walk, but I didn't take the time to get her shoes on) while Nathan ran around on the hill, sliding down the slide.) My mind wandered briefly to all the yard work I want to do, and had the gall to momentarily hope for a chance to start working on the yard soon! Visions of flowers, vegetables, new bushes and trees danced through my head. This is the year for adding flourishes like flowering plants and a real vegetable garden. And I REALLY want a very kid friendly yard, with more than just a slide, but a swingset/playhouse combo. And especially a fence! So wish me luck. It all sounds expensive, though, so if anyone has cheap and amazing ideas, please share. And let's ALL hope for an early spring!
