I Want a Cookie

ALWAYS. Anyway, Michelle, let's keep an eye on the weather report, cause if the weather is okay this weekend should be okay for us!

I think that's all I have to say for now......thinking....yeah.

Michelle is the Winner

Ok, since Michelle was the next one to post, she gets a cookie. But since she wants to host a shindig at her house, how about I bring dessert? (It will probably be cookies. But that's cool cuz I'm an awesome cookie maker.)

Speaking of dessert, I have a new best friend. Her name is joythebaker. Her last name is .com. (I think it's swedish?) Anyway, if you like to bake the most delicious and mouth watering desserts known to man, plus enjoy looking at pictures of the most delicious and mouth watering desserts known to man, definitely check it out. But if not, I guess you can just settle for eating my desserts. Which are pretty good too. Speaking of which, I made an awesome chocolate cake. i'm having my mother-in-law and Savannah (sis-in-law) for lunch tomorrow and they get to enjoy this chocolate cake with me. So that's all. Brian, I choose you to tell me about... uh... a computer game that isn't too boring and I might actually enjoy. REady.... set... GO!

(Oh and Michelle, we're pretty flexible about when. I know the kids want to see your new place but if it doesn't work out to be on a Wednesday or weekend we have them, we just won't mention it.)

Nothing to Exciting.

Hello all! I posted pictures of New York on our blog last week. Go check them out if you haven't already. http://www.kevandchelle.blogspot.com

Also, we are really wanting to get together with everyone for a family home evening/dinner party. We bought a frozen Stoffer's lasagna and would love to have everyone over. What night works for people? Kevin has class on both Tuesday and Wednesday night but we are usually free the rest of the week. Text/call/email me and let's try to get something together!

Hope everyone is having a great week!

This is Ridiculous - By Sarah

After spending alllllll Saturday out in the nice warmish sun, the temperature drops and hits me with a ball of snow. That was not cool, Universe. Strangely, I spent ALL OF SUNDAY with a mystery allergy. It FELT like hay fever but the fact that I was inside with the windows shut all day was quite mysterious. But I'm not allergic today, and I have no cold. Hmm. It was a crappy way to spend a Sunday. So that is my whine-of-the-day. At least the only whine you'll hear about.

Your Weather Report:
SLC - You will not hit 50 degrees until Saturday, which will make you bitter and cry frequently. There will be precipitation, frozen and not, until Thursday. This will also make you cry and wish you had a garage. Or even a garage not full of storage.

Logan - Your life will be just as miserable but you have a garage, so you won't cry as much. Bike riding isn't recommend as it will also be wet until Thursday AND you won't hit 50 degrees. Close, on Sunday, but no cigar.

And that is the weather for this next week. Apparently, the nice weather we've been having was just a strange, sad little fluke. So start dressing your daughter in socks for crying out loud. (In my defense, I didn't know it was snowing till I opened the door!)

In other news in the Stillman Family... hmm. Oh yes. We're going to St. George for Spring Break, which runs for the shockingly long time of MARCH 27 THRU APRIL 5. What?! Who does that?! Certainly and not ever Cache School District. We won't be down there the whole time, since it's technically Laura's turn to have Spring Break with the kids but we're hoping she'll let us take them from Wednesday to Sunday. I need a tan and some serious time with a pool. Or at the very least time near a pool, content with the knowledge I could get in if I really wanted too.

And lastly, some recent pics. That's all. I will give the next person a homebaked cookie who posts and isn't Mom or Anna. (And that's not a diet comment, I just assume you will post sooner than others. So you can have a cookie too.)
(Rocking the "I've Just Been Robbed" Look) (And it wasn't this messy pre-break-in. I promise.)
"Hey, I was robbed but it's cool, cuz I got my stuff back."
Jayden looks so sad on the right there... he's a smart kid though. He knows Sophia's a bully!
Yes, that's Sophia in her toy box. Because isn't that what a toy box is for?? (And I took an awesome picture of her crying after it fell over but my computer ate it. My computer is also a bully.)
And sorry I haven't sent those pictures Anna!

Weird way to start

I think we should set the website up so that its more private. I hate using actual names when I know anyone could happen upon the site and get TMI about any of us!
Just a thought.

I guess I'll get the ball rolling just by touching on some of the high lights of our life the past few days.....okay maybe low lights in some cases! Lets see, after finding out we WILL be getting a tax refund after all we booked a flight for 5 days to Virginia to see all Hubby's family. Its end of april, beginning of May. Can you imagine our four kids on a plane for that long? Luckily Mom is flying there and back with us to help but we will go our seperate ways once we arrive. She is going there to hang out with Dad or whatever. She can explain.

So (A) got in big trouble at school for biting her teacher and spitting in her face. *eye roll* but at least she is not suspended!

The weather is warming up finally so we've been going on some walks and starting to get out the bikes, which is nice.

Oh and I decided it was time to teach the girls a little about where babies come from....I remember "the talk" as being incredible awkward when I was little, but true to form, my girls were fascinated. In fact, they later told "Grandma" later about what Mommy had told them- they were pretty psyched about it. I didn't go into too much detail yet though, but they clearly did have some misunderstandings about some stuff. Oh, so if they start talking to you about anything weird or uncomfortable, just remind them gently that this is stuff they can talk to their mom or dad about! Yeah, being a parent is hard! AHHHHH!!!!!

I think that's about it for our news. Life goes on stressfully as always! What's up with all you guys? 10 points- cha ching!

Mom says:

I'm so happy that you started this Sarah. I hope everyone uses it. Here are a few of my favorite pictures, though I have a ton. Love you all.

Mom has been after all of us forever for a "family website." Not one of us like to go to family websites and post stuff. But we all like to talk about ourselves. (With the exception of Brian and Dad, but Brian likes to write and Dad has Mom to talk for him.) I think this will work.

Here's what I'm thinking: we all get on once in awhile and post about ourselves, our family, our random thoughts on the universe, yada yada. We can title our posts with our names to avoid confusion. Or whatever. Anyway, and if we're super busy with our uber cool lives, those of us with our own blogs can just pop in and say "Hey, I posted my ongoings on my blog, so check it out." And it totally counts. And we can post pictures too if we wanted. Pretty simple hopefully. So go on. Start talking about yourself.
